Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 in 1970) is a renowned American actor. Melina Kanakaredes is best known for playing Detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter respectively on NBC's drama Providence. She also received acclaim for her breakthrough television debut role as Eleni Andros Cooper in the CBS soap series Guiding Light. Her notable film appearances include 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life, written by Elisabeth Kubler Ross and adapted into a feature film by Vlas Parlapanides (the duo who came up with the Immortals) is said to be on the way. Also, she's filming a new series called Gods & Heroes.
