Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou born Beaumont, at Puy-deDomme, France on the 9th of August 1976. Audrey is the largest child in a family of four. Since a young age, both her dental doctor parents as well as her teacher mom supported her love of theater and drama. It was this love which trumped her original desire to become a an animal scientist. Her rise to fame as a young actress was swift and marked by early success. After her graduation in 1998, she participated in a French television show that scouts talent Jeunes Premiers that was supported by Canal+ and won Best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors prior to launching acting professionally. Tautou was raised in the context of a Catholic home, and was a member of the church, even though she was a student in the Institut Catholique de Paris. Apart from her acting career she was also interested in modelling. The model was of L'Oreal Mont Blanc, Chanel and was dubbed "The Chanel Muse". Recently, at Arles Arts Festival, Arles Arts Festival, she displayed an array of photos under the name Superficial. The work she produces is focused on fame in addition to popularity. It also features portraits of herself and special focus on journalists who have scrutinised Tautou since her meteoric success following Amelie. Audrey Tautou rose to fame and fame with her starring part in the film Le Fabuleux of Amelie Poulain. Amelie achieved international success at the box office and won awards around the globe. The film is still the top-grossing French language film to be released in the US. In the following year, she was a part of British dramas including Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things as well as Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Un long Sunday de Faancailles. After that, Tautou went to Hollywood where Ron Howard directed the Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code.
